Meet Our Team

ANDERSON SALAS

Registered Massage Therapist | Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

Anderson’s journey into healing began long before formal training. Growing up, he watched his mother, Elizabeth—a Shiatsu Therapist and part of a lineage of Sobanderas (Colombian bone setters and folk masseuses)—ease people’s pain with just her hands. Inspired by this early exposure, he developed a deep passion for understanding the body and its ability to heal.

In his final year of high school, he discovered Yoga, which became the foundation of his approach to movement, therapy, and mindfulness. This led him to complete a Yoga Teacher Training in his early 20s, setting the stage for a lifelong study of the mind-body connection.

Education & Professional Training

Anderson holds a Bachelor of Applied Health Science in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College, where he gained expertise in injury rehabilitation, movement science, and biomechanics. He later completed an advanced diploma in Massage Therapy at Fleming College and trained in Manual Osteopathy at the National Academy of Osteopathy, specializing in postural alignment, myofascial therapy, and structural balance.

A Holistic Approach to Healing

With experience treating athletes, chronic pain sufferers, and individuals recovering from injuries, Anderson integrates gentle, non-invasive techniques with movement therapy, breathwork, and manual therapy. His treatments are designed to not just relieve symptoms but to restore functional movement, reduce stress, and promote long-term well-being.

Yoga, Meditation & Mindfulness in Therapy

A certified Yoga teacher since 2011, Anderson has co-facilitated Yoga Teacher Training programs and led breathwork & meditation workshops across Canada. His decade-long commitment to silent Vipassana meditation retreats informs his mindfulness-based approach to healing, helping clients reconnect with their bodies on both a physical and energetic level.

Personal Interests

Beyond therapy, Anderson is an avid rock climber and practices Iaido, a Japanese martial art focusing on precision, breath control, and movement awareness—disciplines that further refine his approach to structural alignment and functional movement.

Guiding You to Strength, Balance & Resilience

Anderson’s mission is simple: to help clients move through life with greater ease, strength, and awareness. Through a fusion of modern science and ancient wisdom, he provides compassionate, results-driven care, empowering individuals to reclaim their health and well-being.

ELIZABETH LENGYEL

Certified Shiatsu Therapist

Elizabeth’s journey into healing began in the mountains of Junín, Colombia, where she spent seven formative years under the care of her grandmothers. Through her grandmother Rita—a Sobandera (massage healer), Partera (midwife), and “death doula”—she was introduced to the power of touch, intention, and natural medicine. From as early as seven, Elizabeth felt a deep connection to nature, animals, and the subtle world of energy.

Though this ancestral wisdom lived in her hands from a young age, it wasn’t until her 30s that she fully returned to the healing path. In 2012, she completed her Diploma in Zen Shiatsu Therapy at the Shiatsu School of Canada in Toronto—embracing a practice that felt both new and innately familiar.

Education & Professional Training

Elizabeth is trained in Zen Shiatsu Therapy, a Japanese bodywork modality rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her treatments emphasize intuitive touch, deep listening, and meridian-based energy balance. With each session, she offers grounded presence and skilled hands—guiding the body toward harmony without the need for words.

“Shiatsu to me is a path where I can transmit my intentions and knowledge to help someone even without verbal communication.”

A Holistic Approach

Elizabeth blends traditional wisdom with a modern understanding of the body, supporting clients through physical discomfort, emotional tension, and energetic imbalances. Her treatments work holistically, addressing both symptoms and root causes in a nurturing, safe space.

Movement, Meditation & Exploration

Outside the clinic, Elizabeth continues to explore embodiment through Power Yoga, Flamenco dance, and Vipassana meditation—each practice deepening her intuitive insight and connection to the healing process.

Holding Space for Healing & Reconnection

Elizabeth’s mission is to help others reconnect with themselves—offering care that is intuitive, effective, and rooted in both lineage and lived experience.

TAMARA Vaughan

Massage Therapist (License Reactivation in Progress)

Tamara’s path into healing began through the world of music. After earning a degree in Vocal Performance and Education from the University of Toronto, she realized her true calling lay in work that honored the body, spirit, and the deep transformations that occur when we reconnect with ourselves.

In 2008, she transitioned into Massage Therapy—a shift that opened her eyes to the ways our bodies hold emotional and physical imprints: tension in the jaw, grief in the chest, stress in the shoulders. Around the same time, she discovered yoga and found a home at Bare Yoga & Athletics, where she began to explore the profound relationship between movement, awareness, and healing.

Education & Professional Training

Tamara is a trained Massage Therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals through stress, chronic tension, burnout, and emotional disconnection. Her work is influenced by both Eastern and Western approaches, blending therapeutic techniques with deep intuitive listening and energy awareness.

Tamara’s treatments are tailored to uncover the root causes of imbalance—physically, emotionally, or energetically—and to support the body’s natural healing ability. She specializes in creating personalized care for clients seeking to reclaim their energy, ease long-held patterns of tension, and restore a sense of grounded clarity.

A Holistic Approach to Healing

With a calm and nurturing presence, Tamara holds space for clients to feel seen, supported, and empowered. Her sessions are designed to reconnect individuals to their bodies in meaningful ways, integrating intentional touch, breath, and nervous system regulation. Whether you’re working through long-term fatigue or seeking to reconnect to yourself on a deeper level, her work invites healing from the inside out.

Music, Movement & Mind-Body Connection

Tamara’s background in music continues to inform her sensitivity to rhythm, breath, and emotional expression. She values practices that harmonize body and mind—like yoga, meditation, and mindful movement—and is passionate about helping others rediscover their own inner alignment.

Walking With You Through Transformation

Tamara believes that healing is not something we force—it’s something we allow. Through compassionate care and grounded presence, she supports clients on their path toward greater balance, strength, and self-awareness.

Please note: Tamara’s Massage Therapy license is currently undergoing reactivation. While treatments are available, insurance receipts cannot be provided at this time.

BLAISE BAILLARGEON

Manual Osteopath | Tai Chi & Qi Gong Instructor

Blaise’s journey into healing began with a lifelong study of movement, posture, and energetic flow. With over 15 years of experience teaching Tai Chi and Qi Gong, Blaise developed a deep understanding of how habitual patterns and subtle imbalances in the body can impact overall health. His work is grounded in the belief that healing is a partnership—one that requires both intuitive presence and technical precision.

Originally drawn to movement-based arts for their meditative and therapeutic qualities, Blaise discovered Manual Osteopathy as a natural extension of his work. He was inspired by the discipline’s focus on alignment, gentle touch, and whole-body integration.

Education & Professional Training

Blaise is a graduate of the 2200-hour Manual Osteopathy program at the National Academy of Osteopathy, where he trained in musculoskeletal assessment, joint mobilization, visceral manipulation, and myofascial release. His treatments are shaped by his background in biomechanics and years of one-on-one client care through movement therapy.

In both his osteopathic practice and Tai Chi instruction, Blaise emphasizes posture, movement efficiency, and awareness of daily habits that can lead to dysfunction or pain. His treatments are gentle, precise, and designed to promote long-term healing by addressing the root causes of imbalance.

A Holistic & Collaborative Approach

Blaise encourages clients to become active participants in their healing journey. He pays close attention to ergonomics, emotional stressors, and the body’s natural rhythms, creating treatment plans that are as practical as they are restorative. His calm and compassionate presence helps clients feel safe, supported, and empowered.

Movement, Music & Mind-Body Awareness

When he’s not in the clinic, Blaise continues to explore the intersections of movement and well-being through music, athletics, and mindfulness practices. He believes that physical, emotional, and energetic health are deeply interconnected—and this belief informs every aspect of his work.

Supporting Your Journey Back to Balance

Blaise’s mission is to help clients feel more at home in their bodies—aligned, resilient, and at ease. By blending the wisdom of movement traditions with the science of manual therapy, he offers care that is thoughtful, effective, and rooted in the body’s innate ability to heal.
